Visit RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival car-free
There are direct trains from London Waterloo and Clapham Junction to Hampton Court station, from where it’s a 20-minute walk to the show (there’s also an accessible shuttle bus).
You can also take the train to Kingston from Waterloo and local stations across South London, from where it’s a 8-minute bus ride and 10-minute walk to the show. There are also local buses from across south London.

Cyclists are welcome. There are bike racks at Ditton Gate (access via the Thames Path) and Long Water Gate (access via Stud Gate or Home Park). Plan your cycle route here.

By train and shuttlebus/foot, via Hampton Court station
South Western Railway trains will run every 15 minutes from London Waterloo to Hampton Court (Zone 6), via Clapham Junction, taking about half an hour.
There’s a regular accessible shuttle bus from Hampton Court Station to Long Water Gate entrance. Alternatively it’s a 20-minute (0.7 mile) walk over the Thames and through the beautiful Privy Garden to the festival – here’s a map. Our journey planner will show you train times.
By train and bus, via Kingston
There are also trains to Kingston from Waterloo and these local stations: Shepperton, Upper Halliford, Sunbury, Kempton Park, Hampton, Fulwell, Teddington, Hampton Wick, Norbiton, New Malden, Raynes Park, Wimbledon, Clapham Junction, Vauxhall.
Buses leave from Kingston Station (Stop R) on Wood Street, a couple of minutes’ walk from Kingston station. Hop on the frequent bus 111, bus 216, or bus 411 for the 8-minute ride to Hampton Court. Our journey planner will show you train and bus times.
