It’s just half an hour’s train ride from London Waterloo to Hampton Court. There are also trains to Surbiton from towns south of London, for a 7-minute connecting train ride to Hampton Court. Cyclists are welcome. There are bike racks at Thames Gate (access via the Thames Path) and Long Water Gate (access via Stud Gate or Home Park). Plan your cycle route here.

By train from Waterloo
South Western Railway trains run every 30 minutes from London Waterloo to Hampton Court, via Clapham Junction, in just 35 minutes.
From Hampton Court station it’s a 10-minute stroll over the bridge and along the river to Thames Gate entrance (or you can hop of the ferry) – here’s a map.
By train via Surbiton
There are frequent trains to Surbiton from Guildford, Woking and many other towns south of London. From Surbiton there are connecting trains to Hampton Court every 30 minutes, but these trains can by very busy, so you may prefer to continue by bus (total journey time 30 minutes)…
Catch the frequent bus K1 or bus 71 from Stop NB (on the far site of Victoria Road outside Surbiton station) to Kingston Bus station. Change onto the frequent bus 111, bus 216 or bus 411 from Stop R, for the short ride to Hampton Court Green.
It’s a 5-minute walk from the Hampton Court Green bus stop to the Ditton Gate entrance to the Show.

By train via Kingston
There are frequent trains to Kingston from Waterloo and suburban stations in South London. From Kingston you can continue on by bus (as below), or ferry (as below).
By bus
There are frequent buses to Hampton Court from Kingston and many parts of South London. The following buses all stop within a 5-10 minute walk of the Festival.

By ferry
Turks Launches run a ferry service from Hampton Court station, Kingston Bridge (near Kingston station), Town End Pier and Richmond, to the Thames Gate entrance to the Festival.
Parr Boats run a ferry from Molesey Lock (near Hampton Court Station) to Thames Gate.
There’s a charge for these services.
