There is hourly shuttlebus service from Woking train station to RHS Wisley, seven days a week. There are direct trains to Woking from London Waterloo (25 mins) and from towns across the south of England. For more details visit RHS website.

Cyclists welcome – there are cycle racks at the Garden. You can cycle to West Byfleet on National Route 221, or take your bike on the train to West Byfleet. From there it’s a 3-mile cycle via the River Wey valley. Plan your cycle route here.

Getting to RHS Garden Wisley car-free

By shuttlebus from Woking station (for London)
Trains run from London Waterloo to Woking every 5-10 minutes and the journey takes about half an hour. There are also regular direct trains to Woking from across the south of England, including Clapham Junction, Surbiton, Basingstoke, Alton, Haslemere, Winchester, Southampton, Portsmouth, Salisbury and Exeter.
From Woking station, RHS Wisley’s shuttlebus service runs hourly, between 9am and 5.30pm, seven days a week. No need to book, just pay on board (£2 each way, contactless payments accepted). For full details and timetable see RHS website.
By bus
Stagecoach bus 715 runs from Guildford Friary Bus Station (Stand 19), via Ripley, to RHS Wisley in 25 minutes. Alight at the bus stop on the A3.
You can also catch Stagecoach bus 715 from Kingston-upon-Thames Cromwell Road Bus Station (Stand A3). The bus runs via Esher and Cobham to RHS Wisley in 45 minutes.
Bus 715 runs regularly (but less regularly on Sundays and Bank Holidays).

From the bus stops on the A3 it’s a 10-15 minute walk to the Garden (allow an extra 5 minutes for the walk over the footbridge for buses towards Guildford).
By train via West Byfleet
Fast trains to West Byfleet leave London Waterloo every half hour and take 30 minutes.
Pre-book a taxi to meet you at West Byfleet by phoning: Claremont Cars 01932 351451, Surrey Cars 01932 355644 or Local Area Cars 01932 808080. The journey takes 15 minutes and costs about £10 for up to four people.
By train via Kingston
By train via Guildford
There are direct trains to Guildford from London Waterloo, Crawley, Dorking Deepdene, Portsmouth, Petersfield, Haslemere and Reading.
From the train station it’s a 10-minute walk to the Friary Bus Station (Stop 19) to catch bus 715.
