How to get to RHS Garden Hyde Hall car-free:

Trains run direct to Chelmsford from London Liverpool Street, Colchester and Ipswich.

Bus 3 (run by Arrow Taxis) leaves from Stand 1 at the bus station. Buses run every two hours, Monday to Saturday. The bus calls at Hyde Hall on request – ask the driver and book your bus back (or call 01621 874410).

On Sundays, or if the bus times aren’t convenient, you can catch the train to South Woodham Ferrers and take a taxi to the garden – CM3 Cars (01245 328818) charge £7-8.
