Visit RHS Garden Hyde Hall car-free

NEW summer shuttle bus service direct from Shenfield train station to Hyde Hall, daily from 22nd July to 3rd September. Enjoy 30% off garden entry when you arrive car-free. Shuttle bus tickets must be booked in advance.

It’s just half an hour’s train ride from London or Colchester to Chelmsford. From Chelmsford Bus 3 runs a few times a day on Saturdays (a couple per day on weekdays). If you’re coming on a Sunday, or for convenience, you can take the train to South Woodham Ferrers and then a taxi to the Garden.

Hyde Hall welcomes cyclists. The Garden is a 3-mile cycle from South Woodham Ferrers rail station. Plan your cycle route here.

There is a taxi rank at Chelmsford station – the fare to Hyde Hall is about £25.

Wickford Taxis offer a set fair to Hyde Hall from Wickford train station for £17, call 01268 272727 to book.

Happicabs offer a set fair to Hyde Hall from South Woodham Ferrers train station for £15, call 01245 321321 to book.
