By train and taxi via Hollingbourne
There are direct trains to Hollingbourne from: Maidstone East (about 5 mins), Ashford International (25 mins, for Eurostar and services from Dover and Folkestone port towns), Bromley South (55 mins) and London Victoria (75 mins), with connections from across the South East.
By train and bus via Maidstone
There are direct trains to Maidstone East from: Ashford International (30 mins), London Bridge (about 55 mins), London Waterloo East (60 mins) and London Charing Cross (60 mins). There are also local trains to Maidstone West from Strood (20 mins), Tonbridge (30 mins) and Paddock Wood (30 mins).
It’s a 5-10 minutes walk from either of these train stations to catch the bus – our journey planner will show you the route.

By bus from Maidstone
Bus 10X runs regularly every day (fewer on Sundays) and stops about 15 minutes’ walk from Leeds Castle. Buses leave from Earl Street (Stop V2) and King Street (Stop L1). The journey takes about 15 minutes.
There are connecting buses to Maidstone from Gillingham, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Canterbury.
Hop off the bus at Hollingbourne (Great Danes Hotel). Follow the brown road signs to Leeds Castle. It’s about 5 minutes’ walk along pavements to the main entrance, then another 5 minutes’ stroll down the drive to reception. Here’s a map of the estate.
