Frequent buses run direct from Leeds and Harrogate to Harewood village. Then it’s a 20-minute stroll through the grounds to Harewood House, or you can call for free pick-up: 0113 218 1010. You’ll need to be fairly fit to reach Harewood by bike. From Leeds you can follow National Route 668 as far as Black Moor, from where it’s a hilly 6-mile cycle along roads to Harewood. National Routes 66/67 pass through Wetherby, 7 miles from Harewood. Plan your cycle route here.
Add return bus to Harewood to your train ticket for £2-£4 with a PlusBus Leeds or PlusBus Harrogate ticket.

Via Leeds
There are frequent trains to Leeds from London, the Midlands and all cities in the north of England. It’s a 15-minute walk between train and bus in Leeds – our journey planner will show you the route.
Catch bus 36 from Leeds Bus Station (Stand 23) to Harewood Village. Buses leave frequently, taking just half an hour. Jump off at the Harewood Arms.

Via Harrogate
If you’re coming from York, or want to avoid the walk between train and bus in Leeds, take the train to Harrogate where the bus stops close to the station.
Hop on bus 36 from Harrogate bus station (Stand 7) to Harewood Village. Buses leave frequently and the journey takes just 20 minutes. Jump off at the Harewood Arms.
