It’s easy as Fairytale Farm is located just outside Chipping Norton.
Buses stop round the corner from Oxford (50 mins) and Chipping Norton (2 mins).
Buses run to Chipping Norton from: Witney (35 mins), Stratford-upon-Avon (40 mins) and Banbury (50 mins). Here you can change for the bus to Fairytale Farm.

By bus from Oxford
Bus S3 Gold (operated by Stagecoach) stops close to Fairytale Farm. Buses leave from the shelters at: Oxford train station, Magdeline Street and Summertown regularly. The journey takes about 50 minutes.
We recommend that you get off the bus at the Cotswolds Hotel/Golf Course stop around the corner from us and walk through the Hotel/Golf Club car park, past the hotel, into the Fairytale Farm car park. That way you would not need to walk on the side of the road.
By bus via Chipping Norton
There are direct buses to Chipping Norton from:
- Banbury bus station (bus 488, 50 mins)
- Bourton-on-the-Water High Street (bus 801, 50 mins)
- Cheltenham Spa Royal Well (bus 801, 905 mins)
- Stratford-upon-Avon Wood Street (bus 50, 40 mins)
- Stow-on-the-Wold Market Square (bus 801, 30 mins)
- Witney Market Square (bus X9, 35 mins)
Jump off at West Street, where you can change for bus S3 Gold at Stop B.
Bus S3 Gold (operated by Stagecoach) stops close to Fairytale Farm. Buses leave from Chipping Norton West Street regularly. The journey takes a couple of minutes.
(West Street is in Chipping Norton’s shopping area. There’s a play area 10-minutes away on New Street).
We recommend that you get off the bus at the Cotswolds Hotel/Golf Course stop around the corner from us and walk through the Hotel/Golf Club car park, past the hotel, into the Fairytale Farm car park. That way you would not need to walk on the side of the road.
Be aware that there is no crossing on the A-road.
By train
There are direct trains to Oxford from London Paddington (50 mins) and Marylebone (about 80 mins), Didcot (20 mins), Reading (25 mins), Banbury (25 mins), High Wycombe (45 mins), Worcester Foregate Street (80 mins), Bournemouth (115 mins) and beyond.

Bus S3 Gold (operated by Stagecoach) stops close to Fairytale Farm. Buses leave from the directly outside Oxford train station regularly. (If you have a bit of a wait, there are a few shops at the train station). The journey takes about 50 minutes.
