Visit Deepdale Camping & Rooms car-free
It’s quite easy to visit Deepdale Camping & Rooms on the North Norfolk Coast (between Wells-next-the-Sea and Hunstanton) car-free. Buses stop outside and run regularly along the scenic seafront.
There are direct buses from Wells-next-the-Sea (30 mins), Kings Lynn (80 mins) and Fakenham (65 mins). Change at Wells-next-the-Sea from Cromer.
Trains run straight to Kings Lynn from London Kings Cross (about 115 mins), Cambridge (50 mins) and Ely (35 mins). At Ely, there are connections from Thetford, Peterborough and Norwich.

The 36 Coastliner bus route is scenic. You can take other Coastliner buses all along the North Norfolk seafront.
Cycle hire is available on site. And there is a visitor information centre that can provide excellent information about the local area, including walks, cycle routes, maps and other guides.

There is a walk around the Burnhams as part of the Norfolk Coast Path, as well as walks to Brancaster, Staithe, Hunstanton and Hopton.

By train via Kings Lynn
There are direct trains to Kings Lynn from: Downham Market (about 15 mins), Ely (35 mins) Cambridge (50 mins) and London Kings Cross (115 mins). At Ely there are connecting trains from Thetford (25 mins), Peterborough (40 mins on the scenic Herewood Line) and Norwich (60 mins).
Coastliner bus 36 runs from Kings Lynn to Thornham and stops outside. Buses leave from Kings Lynn transport interchange (Stand E) regularly. The journey takes about 80 minutes. Hop off at the entrance.
By bus via Kings Lynn
There are direct buses to Kings Lynn from: Downham Market (35 mins, bus 37), Swaffham (45 mins, buses A, B and C), Dereham (75 mins, buses A, B and C), Peterborough (85 mins, buses A, B and C) and Norwich (110 mins, buses A, B and C).
Coastliner bus 36 runs from Kings Lynn to Thornham and stops outside. Buses leave from Kings Lynn transport interchange (Stand E) regularly. The journey takes about 80 minutes. Hop off at the entrance.
By train via Sheringham and Wells-next-the-Sea
There are direct trains to Sheringham from Norwich (about 60 mins) on the scenic Bittern Line via Cromer (10 mins), North Walsham (30 mins) and Hoveton & Wroxham (45 mins). There are connections at Norwich from around the country.
The North Norfolk Railway steam train also runs direct to Sheringham from Holt (about 20 mins) and Weybourne (10 mins) and Kelling Heath Halt (15 mins).
Take Coasthopper bus CH1 from Cromer to Wells-next-the-Sea. Buses leave regularly from Sheringham Railway Approach. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Hop off at The Buttlands, the end of the route.
Coastliner bus 36 runs from Wells-next-the-Sea to Thornham and stops outside. Buses leave from The Buttlands regularly. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Hop off at Burnham Deepdale shops and car park, just past the Deepdale entrance.
By bus via Cromer
There are direct buses to Cromer from Mundesley (25 mins), Aylsham (25 mins), North Walsham (50 mins) and Norwich (75 mins).
Take Coasthopper bus CH1 from Cromer to Wells-next-the-Sea. Buses leave regularly from Cromer bus interchange. The journey takes about 65 minutes. Hop off at The Buttlands, the end of the route.
