It takes a little planning to visit Cliveden car-free.

Bus 37 from Maidenhead Frascati Way Stop S1 regularly (except Sundays). The journey takes about 25 minutes. Jump off at Ferry Lane. It’s then a an about 35-minute walk along lanes to Cliveden. Bus 37 also runs from High Wycombe bus station, and takes about 35 minutes.

Alternatively, trains from Maidenhead to Bourne End run regularly. The journey takes about 10 minutes. It’s then about a 45-minute walk along lanes to Cliveden. Or book a taxi, which should take about 10 minutes.

There are direct trains to Maidenhead from London Paddington (20 mins) and Didcot Parkway (45 mins). The London Elizabeth Line runs to Maidenhead from: Reading (15 mins), Paddington (30 mins), Liverpool Street (60 mins) and Abbey Wood (75 mins).
