It’s easy to reach the British Schools Museum car-free. Hitchin train station is half an hour from central London. From the station, it is a 15-20 minute walk to the museum, or check our journey planner for a bus.

Buses stop close by in Hitchin, at Asda or St Mary’s Square from Stevenage (20 mins) and Luton (50 mins); and some from St Albans (50 mins), Welwyn-Garden-City (60 mins) and Bishop’s Stortford (80 mins). A few buses run to Hitchin from Bedford (70 mins) and Watford (100 mins).
