It’s easy to reach Brighton i360 car-free, as it is on the sea front in the city centre.
Brighton is just an hour by train from London Victoria, London Bridge or Blackfriars. It’s also about an hour from: Chichester, Eastbourne, Hastings, Littlehampton or Worthing. From the train station, it’s a 15-20 minute walk to Brighton i360.
Explore more of the city with a Brighton PlusBus train ticket, which gives you unlimited local bus travel. You can also ride along the coast as far as Newhaven (30 mins) and Seaford (55 mins) or Shoreham-by-Sea (25 mins).
Buses run to Brighton from: Crowborough (90 mins), Tunbridge Wells (2 hrs), Hailsham (85 mins), Heathfield (100 mins) and Uckfield (60 mins).

Heritage attraction Volks Electric Railway stops about 20 minutes away and goes along the seafront.
Scenic Sussex Downs train line ends at Brighton and runs from Seaford via Lewes through the National Park hills. You can also travel along the Sussex Coast train line from Littlehampton. Enjoy the journey with children’s activities or an audio guide to the city’s music scene.
Scenic bus routes run to Newhaven, Seaford & Eastbourne, as well as Shoreham-by-Sea, Worthing & Littlehampton.

By train
There are direct trains to Brighton train station from:
Thameslink services through London: Bedford (2.5 hrs), Blackfriars (70 mins), Cambridge (2.5 hrs), East Croydon (50 mins), Farringdon (70 mins), London Bridge (60 mins) and St Pancras International (70 mins).
Gatwick Express services: Gatwick Airport (25 mins), Haywards Heath (15 mins) and London Victoria (60 mins).

From the train station, it’s a 15-20 minute walk to Brighton i360.
Alternatively, you can take bus 7, bus 12 or others half-way. Hop off at the Clock Tower.
Summer buses
Two seasonal buses stop next to Brighton i30 and run from Brighton train station. These are the regular bus 77 from Devil’s Dyke (PlusBus valid as far as the Brighton By-Pass), plus the fairly frequent summer sightseeing bus CSR (PlusBus not valid).

Lots of frequent buses run from: Falmer, Hove, Moulescoomb, Portslade, Preston Park and elsewhere – use our journey planner to find one.
Sussex Coast PlusBus area:
Newhaven (30-45 mins) and Seaford (55-60 mins): Brighton & Hove‘s frequent Coaster bus rides 12X, 12a or 12 to Clock Tower. (Route 701 was cancelled, but may return in 2025).
Shoreham (25 mins): Brighton & Hove‘s frequent bus 2 to Churchill Square or Clock Tower or Stagecoach‘s frequent Coastliner bus ride 700 to Churchill Square.
Brighton i360 is a 10-minute stroll from Churchill Square shopping centre on Western Road, or Jubilee Clock Tower. It is a 15-minute stroll from Old Steine park.
Buses from other towns
East Sussex and Kent:
Eastbourne (70/90 mins): Brighton & Hove‘s frequent bus 12X to Clock Tower. (Route 701 was cancelled, but may return in 2025).
Brighton & Hove‘s frequent ‘Regency Route’ to Churchill Square or Old Steine stops at: Crowborough (95 mins, bus 29), Hailsham (85 mins, bus 28), Heathfield (100 mins, bus 29a), Lewes (35 mins, frequent buses 28, 29, or 29a), Tunbridge Wells (2 hrs, bus 29) and Uckfield (60 mins, bus 29 or bus 29a):
Regular buses also run from: Burgess Hill (35 mins, Metrobus 270), Crawley (60 mins, Metrobus 273), East Grinstead (95 mins, Metrobus 270) and Horsham (80 mins, Stagecoach bus 17).
West Sussex:
Bognor Regis (3 hrs), Littlehampton (2 hrs) and Worthing (45 mins): Stagecoach‘s frequent Coastliner bus ride 700 to Churchill Square.
