It’s easy to reach Blenheim car-free. There are frequent buses from Oxford and Oxford Parkway stations and connecting trains from London and other cities. Use our journey planner above to get train and bus times.

Cyclists are welcome. Blenheim Palace is 8 miles north of Oxford, on National Route 5. There are bike stands at the Palace. Plan your route here.

By bus and coach
Buses from Oxford
Stagecoach bus S3 and bus S7 run from Oxford City Centre to Woodstock (for Blenheim) frequently. Bus S3 and bus S7 leave from Oxford Railway Station (Stop R5) and also pick up at Magdalen Street (Stop C4). The journey to Blenheim takes 30-40 minutes. Buses stop outside the main entrance, from where it’s a 10-minute stroll through the park to Blenheim Palace.
By Coach from London
Regular coached run from London Victoria Coach Station to Oxford’s Gloucester Green Bus Station (connect to Blenheim on bus S3 from Bay 8). Visit oxfordtube.com for prices and times.
By train
By train and bus via Oxford Parkway
There are two trains an hour from London Marylebone to Oxford Parkway (via High Wycombe, Haddenham and Thame Parkway and Bicester Village). Then hop on bus S7 from Stop E for Blenheim. Buses run frequently and the journey takes 15 minutes.
By train and bus via Oxford
There are direct trains to Oxford Station from London Paddington (via Reading and Didcot Parkway), from the North via Birmingham and from the South Coast. Then take bus S3 or bus S7 from Stop R5 for Blenheim. Buses run every 30 minutes and the journey takes 40 minutes.
By train and bus via Hanborough
There are also hourly trains to Hanborough from London, Reading and Oxford, as well as from Great Malvern, Worcester and stations on the Cotswold Line. Then hop on bus S7. THe journey takes about 5 minutes.
