Visit Belton House car-free

Visit by bus for just £2 each way. Most buses in England are offering £2 Single Fares until 31st December 2024. Our journey planner will show you if your route is included, or you can find a full list of participating operators and routes here.

It’s easy to visit Belton Hall car-free. Buses from Grantham stop outside.

Bus 1 runs frequently (fewer on Sundays) from Grantham train station and bus station (Stand 9). The journey takes about 15 minutes, direct to the Belton Hall Gates.

There are also buses from Lincoln (bus 1) and Sleaford (bus 27).

There are direct trains to Grantham from: Peterborough (20 mins), Nottingham (30 mins), Doncaster (35 mins), Leeds, London Kings Cross (70 mins), Hull (80 mins), Sheffield (95 mins) and further afield.

About Belton House

The National Trust's largest adventure playground is just one of the attractions at this 1300 acre estate. There is also: a mini train, an ancient deer park, formal gardens with an orangery and fountains, and a Restoration era manor with an extensive library.
