How to get toBelsay Hallcar-free

Visit Belsay Hall car-free

Visit by bus for just £2 each way. Most buses in England are offering £2 Single Fares until 31st December 2024. Our journey planner will show you if your route is included, or you can find a full list of participating operators and routes here.

A free summer shuttle bus X75 runs from Newcastle Haymarket bus station to Belsay Hall on Saturdays until 7 September 2024- check English Heritage website for details of the the X75 bus this season.

Bus X74 also runs from Eldon Square bus station (H) and Jedburgh bus station a few times per day.

At other times of year, you could book a taxi from Morpeth train station. Trains to Morpeth run from: Newcastle, Edinburgh, Carlisle, Bristol, London, and Plymouth.
