It’s quite easy to reach Hawkshead Grammer School as buses stop outside.

Bus 505 runs regularly to Hawkshead Tourist Information Centre from: Windermere train station (about 40 mins), Ambleside (20 mins) and Coniston (20 mins).

There are direct trains to Windermere from: Manchester (110 mins), Preston (55 mins), Lancaster (35 mins), Oxenholme (20 mins) and Kendal (15 mins). There are connections from London, Glasgow, Carlisle and all cities in the North of England.
