Taxis can be booked in advance from: Eccles Road, Attleborough, Thetford or Diss train stations. There are also some buses.

Getting to Banham Zoo car-free
Here's our recommended route to Banham Zoo. To get bus and train times and walking routes use our journey planner.
From Norwich
Bus 37A runs a couple of times per day (none Sundays).
At other times of day catch a train to Attleborough (20 mins) or Eccles Road (25 mins) and change.
From Eccles Road
There are direct trains to Eccles Road from: Attleborough (5 mins), Thetford (15 mins), Norwich (25 mins) or Ely (35 mins).
Book a taxi. The journey should take 5-10 minutes.
From Attleborough
There are direct trains to Attleborough from: Wymondham (15 mins) and Norwich (20 mins).
Turquoise Line bus 13 runs frequently to Attleborough from Wymondham (20 mins), Norwich (65 mins) and Sprixworth (95 mins).
From Thetford
From Diss
There are direct trains to Diss from: Stowmarket (10 mins), Norwich (15 mins), Ipswich (20 mins), Manningtree (30 mins) and Colchester (45 mins).
Bus 1 runs a few times per day from Norwich (60 mins) to Diss. Bus 581 runs a few times per day from Beccles (70 mins).
Otherwise book a taxi. The journey should take about 20 minutes.
